Paleo Fish Tacos

For the Fish: Cut 2 (6-ounce) halibut pieces into smaller 1-inch pieces. In a bowl, combine 2 tbsp olive oil, juice of 1 lemon, 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and a dash of cayenne. Whisk to combine. Place fish into the marinade and let rest in the fridge for up to 4 hours OR just let marinade at room temperature for at least 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, make the slaw: Shred about 1/2 head of green lettuce, dice about 1/4 small red onion, chop cilantro, zest 1/2 lime, add juice of 1 lime, 2 tbsp homemade mayo, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat and set aside to marinate while you cook the fish.

Cook the Fish: Heat a skillet over medium heat. When hot, add the fish (and all of the remaining marinade) and cook until fish is browned on each side and cooked through (about 2 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily).

Assembly: Warm tortillas over medium heat until flexible and slightly charred. Serve cooked fish in the tortillas topped with slaw and a dose of your favorite hot sauce! Enjoy!
